Tell us about yourself?
When I’m not at work, I enjoy walking my Boxer dog and playing the piano. I’m an avid fan of all things motor sport and try to attend races and car shows when possible. I’m also a qualified body piercer, so I spend my Saturdays and Thursday evenings inflicting pain on the general (consenting) public!
How long have you worked in industry?
I spent 2 years at Innserve Technical Services as an Installation Planner, before joining Carlsberg UK as a Telesales Account Manager in 2011. Having little knowledge of the wine category, I completed WSET Level 1 in 2014 and joined the Crown Cellars team shortly after.
What’s your favourite part of your job?
I get a lot of job satisfaction from coaching and mentoring our new starters in the Customer Contact Centre about the basics of wine. I think it helps that I was in the same position as many of them, not knowing anything about wine, so I know how daunting it is!
What’s your favourite wine?
I’m very partial to sparkling wines, especially Champagne! Money no object, I’d go for Laurent Perrier Cuvee Rose, however I’ll settle for a delightful glass of Segura Viudas Cava!
